The so-called SA and NSA are short for Standalone (independent networking) and Non-Standalone (non-independent networking). Then, after building 5G, 4G still needs to be, how will it develop? Zhang Tong, dean of China Mobile Research Institute, said that after the construction of 5G, 4G will continue to progress and develop synergistically for a long time.

"We propose to build a 5G, 4G boutique network, which can achieve more synergy. China Mobile will build 4G together with 4G. In terms of hardware and software, the future 4G and 5G are all integrated and compatible. China Mobile will take SA as the target program and further promote the rapid development of SA industry in terms of industry. From the perspective of wireless devices, all manufacturers have basically launched 5G SA fusion products, and terminal manufacturers have successively supported SA dual-mode chips.
